Rose Cabat is well known for her porcelain Feelies, very narrow-necked vases with her own distinctive satin matte glazes. Rose is one of the very few studio potters with both a national reputation and international exhibition credits.
 
Rose and Erni Cabat moved to Tucson, Arizona in the late 1940s from the Bronx, New York. Rose - a studio potter - was part of the Arizona Designer Craftsman movement. She perfected her 'Feelies' (most often in the shape of weed pots) and was / is collected internationally. Her glazing techniques remain a mystery. She passed away in January 2015 at the age of 101.
